had a buffet dinner at some hotel with my family. welll, the dinner was not bad la, considering it's not really an expensive buffet dinner. about 15+++ bucks per adult only.. anyway, my past weekend was spent at HELP youth camp.

oh. and i think my parents are looking for a new home! =) woot! it's a fact that my home is small. my dad drove up round windsor park (near my area). and omFg, the houses there are so friggin big! imagine that small hill, all to yourself! hahah. but i can forget the idea of staying in a home that big, maybe just a little larger =s

the final day of term 2 has finally arrived! much to the enthusiasm and excitement of us. and guess what, we had a class outing. well, i can say it's quite successful because more than half of our class people turned up! =)

we watched x-men3 at the cathay, yet again. the cathay is really a cool and uptown cinema. the only disadvantage is the 5,10mins walk from PS =s sometimes, i do feel lazy. anyway, x-men 3 was a good movie. compared to da vinci code, hmm, i will prefer xmen3. perhaps because i'm more of an action movie buff. lol. sadly, i didn't get to catch the first 2 prequels though i had a couple of chances to. nevertheless, i surprisingly managed to catch the story line. DARN! i'm disillusioned now. i keep thinking i'm magneto, the final scene just took me aback. i have to say it's one of the strongest scenes in the show, perhaps only second to wolverine doing the ultimate sacrifice. catch it to know it! (with my hand raised, i managed to make heng da move towards me).

okay, so after the movie, the guys, me sihui edwyn jing tat and heng da went back to school. in the end, we wasted our time as we didn't watch the drama =s sorry yawen.. then after, we headed for holland v. had dinner at the hawker ctr then went coffee club to chill out! w00t. the ambience was just so great. nice nice. =) so many jokes around, and not to forget edwyn's multiple orgasms. DARN SICK.

so when i reached home, i peered up the sky. only to realise that the stars are out today... beautiful stars, a rare occurence.

i had the perfect start to the day, albeit a NEGATIVE one. damn. i contracted the flu bug last night, and woke up today with an ultra bad sorethroat. to make matters worse, my nose was so runny it threatens to deplete my entire tissue paper resource. hence, me being an ardent conservationist, decided to use toilet paper instead. it's a little rougher than conventional tissue papers, but at least i know i saved some trees :) so, i didn't really want to go school today, but decided to lug my unusually heavy body outta my home. dont ask me why, i just like to go school.

school was mundane. best thing was that i slept through civics. the highlight of the day was the movie of course! the highly anticipated and controversial film - THE DA VINCI CODE! wooohooo. edwyn, sihui and alfred were my fellow movie-mates. with a superb decision by erm, edwyn? we decided to catch the show at THE CATHAY. not the one at cineleisure or causeway pt, it's the one beside PS. spanking new i would say, with a pungent smell of fresh paint. gets on your nasal nerves i would say, hehe. but HOLY SHIT, the movie theatre was freaking nice. lucky us, we managed to get seats in the Grand Cathay, supposedly the largest hall in the Cathay. and my my was it grand. the red lights streaking through the side walls adds up to the retro atmosphere. and as the commercials and trailers started streaming onto the screen, the red curtain in front unveiled in a slow, but graceful way. ah.

okay, to the movie. i read the book by Dan Brown slightly more than a year ago, so couldn't really recall much of the details. and i would say that the movie indeed bring me back to time where i read the book. especially the ending, which was rather ambiguous and cloudy when i read the book. then you see the lourve museum, the 2 pyramids pointing towards each other, the two points so close to each other that it makes you marvel at such an amazing engineering feat. the plot was good and grips you from beginning to end. contrary to reviews from various sources, i would give the movie 4/5 stars for the superb script and good acting. you'll cringe at some scenes, especially when silas performs his rituals using his 'whip' and cilice. darn cool. all in all, a movie worth watching. though it may be factually unsound, it's all worth the 8 bucks you paid for.

hmmm. didn't go for dinner with the other 3 for dinner due to my bad sore throat. trudged home only to realise that my keyboard's gone. damn. that means i'll miss my game sorely. poor me. oh, and lastly, college day tomorrow and we'll finally get to put on our red ties! ah, tried it on just now, and i think it complements my red-framed specs :)

well initially, wanted to blog about the band concert before. but i guess, the exhilarating and adrenalin-pumping elections sort of overwhelmed the concert. so, reached home at around 1045pm, then realised that election results were coming out soon. without even taking a bath, i joined my family in watching the tv. and of course, no surprises for guessing who reigns the parliament again.

not that i prefer opposition to rule the parliament. it's the ALTERNATIVE voice. PAP candidates are all highly qualified for the job, but they tend to support pap-endorsed policies. and these policies, at times, would contradict the welfare and well-beings of us, singaporeans. this is when the opposition fits into the picture. they do fight for their rights, and our rights. it's heartening to see Chiam See Tong and Low Thia Khiang entering office once again. they are certainly good oppositions.

oh, and just now while i was having breakfast at home. there were a few lorries of PAP supporters passing by, their loud-hailers thanking the bishan-toa payoh GRC supporters. erm okay, my area is a walkover, but, it's very interesting to see those lorries! it's my first time seeing those lorries anyway.

okay, better stop. i dont want to get sued for being political in my blog. :p

a world without impossibilities is an unreal world. whilst some may say nothing is impossible. well, i only agree with the former. what a great start to an incredible day. i wont say it's an incredible day actually, but the movie i caught today with the 5 other guys, i can proudly say, is worth my 8 bucks.

school was rather monotonous, as usual. but after school, we headed for town to get tix for mission impossible 3. well, as a matter of fact, i have not caught any of the previous 2 sequels to MI3. nevertheless, i have a slight idea of the plot of the movie from movie reviews in newspapers.

the movie revolves around secret agent, Ethan Hunt, who works for IMF. try guessing the what it stands for. :) it's a fast paced, action-packed movie. it's a good movie, not because of its plot (though the plot was relatively good), but because it held me clinging on to my seat, with adrenalin pumping through my blood. seldom do movies put me in the frontlines of cinematic experience as this. anyway, the characters. tom cruise looks forever good looking, not that i'm gay (eh jing tat, im not gay), but i think he's too good looking to be a spy. and that lead actress, julia, cant remember her real name, man. she's pretty too. really sweet looking.. all in all, it's a movie worth watching!

MI3 is the start of the 'summer' blockbuster season. i'm gonna eat less to catch the good movies this month! :)

had dinner at BK, then left for home. ziyan asked me to accompany him to HC's band concert, and i, erm, happily agreed. so yea, tomorrow night will be spent at VCH. hehe.

so long..

TODAY, we celebrate labour day.

to celebrate this day, i had physics tuition, with it's artic environment. No, no pun intended. my fingers were on the verge of getting frostbites, and i was suffering from hypothermia. LOL. okay, not that bad. but it was really, quite bad.

nothing much to blog about, but hey! this is my 191st post! i'm surprised that i could sustain this blog for such a long time, considering my previous blog died after 3 or 4 months. the blog's still there, but the tagboard's long gone. so yea, on this LABOUR day, i shall commemorate my blog. happy blog day, blog =) may you continue to have blog entries showered on you.

perhaps, my resolution for the day is to take less pictures of others using my camera phone. for that, i've been called gay. so i see, gay = taking pictures of others like an alligator. hehe.
