it's really different when you only have 3 meagre subjects to juggle. i'm not saying it's better, but anyone out there who's taking 4 subjects, or even S papers, why not just take a step back; perhaps, enjoy a day or two with only 3 subjects. it's a breeze. lol. ehh, but when the results come out, it'll be another story =s

alright, common tests are finally over. glad to say, i should be able to do better than the previous common test. my grades were rather bad, it's up to your interpretation of what's bad, or what's not so bad - DFFF. wow.. you can say, oh you so deserve it, you SLACKer, or, ehh, who ask you so stupid. it's okay, i'm used to it. anyway, i've been used to being last in class back in secondary school. now, what's important is that i don't screw up my A levels. =)

with the end of common tests, it meant that the moment we all have been waiting for is here, albeit only for a couple of days. hey! holidays for 5 days up for grabs, who wont want that? in addition, it's the world cup season my friends. ENG vs Por on saturday 11pm, i guess it's a must-watch for me. haha.

anyway, watched Silent Hill at cine this afternoon with my bunch of friends. zy, tat, ed, hd and alfred. zy reluctantly watched the show, and pulled his ass into the theatre. omg. scary movie 4, dude. it's a really crappy show, the sort of show you download from the internet and view it on your computer. Lol. contrary to ziyan lamentings about the show being the worst he had ever watched, i think the show was rather good. not to mention the special effects in the show. plus, the show's gore was a right balance, not too much, and not too little. a show worth watching i would say. oh, and i read from the internet about the story's plot. well, i came out of the theatre feeling abit lost, but then, now i finally realised the essence of the show. for 7 bucks, what more can you get? SUPERMAN? hahah. sure.

cheers, to our holidays!

time and tide waits for no man. it really doesn't. look, it's almost the end of the holidays already! to rejoice or to moan, is a question to ponder. well, i have to say this holidays\ was really activities-filled. okay, i wont elaborate, i'm lazy.

anyway, i went house looking today again. looks like my parents have set their minds on one semi-d near my home. it's erm, not much bigger than my home, but at least it's a semi-d. okay, there's much renovation to do if my parents do buy that house =s the worst thing is that, my current home would have to be sold off. so where the hell do i stay?! lol.

though all that cannot be confirmed; the price aint right yet. my dad keeps saying that.

oh back to my revision. to be honest, i haven been studying consciensciouly. have been slacking around the computer, listening to music. that's life i guess. i have been listening to some really soothing and nice music. hahah. and THAT'S been distracting me.

now im blaming my procrastination cos of music. how interesting..

i realised i have not been studying conscienciously as i should have been. i don't know why, but i keep getting distracted =s anyway, my parents brought us out to a couple of houses today. okay, they are serious about getting a new house, but the houses we saw today are erm, not to our taste or budget. first, the one behind the row of shophouses near my home was at a lousy plot of land, the entire estate was old. and to add oil to the fire, there was a hdb estate directly behind the backyard. like wth? there's absolutely no privacy. and oh, the house is small, considering it's a semi-detached house. urgh.

the next one was much much better. it's very very near my home, just up the hill beside my home. it's a tad smaller than my current home, but it's design is super modern. 3 stories plus a basement! what more can you want? it's just really really cool to be able to stay in that house. but guess what, the asking price is a hefty 1.9million. totally out of my dad's budget.. urgh =s but i think my parents have a home in mind, somewhere in yck, yishun area. 3 stories with an attic! hahah.

and just now, i heard that my cousin can read medicine at NUS. felt really really jealous. sigh. my elder cousins are all so smart. my eldest cousin is currently reading chemical engineering at NUS, while my 2nd eldest cousin is in UK with a DBS scholarship. i'm the forth eldest one, and there's only one thing i can say about my results currently. it sucks really. oh man, i can only wish. sigh sigh.

three days of extreme exhaustion. maybe 15 hours of sleep in three days may be nothing to some of you all, i certainly do not feel that way. argh. i was severely lacking in sleep, considering my usual sleep duration is about 10 hours. 10 times 3 equals 30. that's twice my usual sleeping time! however, here i am blogging still. well, it's something worth blogging afterall.

okay, this is not gonna be a day to day entry, cause i'm really too tired to list everything i did. so yea, i was a group leader of 7 young children ranging from p2 to p6, and i had yawen and tongchong with me in the group. you may think, oh 3 group leaders to 7 kids, CHICKEN FEET, or chicken toes, whatever. you are so wrong man. kids are a wild bunch of human beings, they torment you through the day, harassing you till you can practically drop dead. a wild ride, so to speak. LOL. anyway, i feel i should have been more enthusiastic, cause looking at yawen makes me rather guilty. she's the one doing most of the work, thinking of new cheers, and leading them. while yours truly is busy doing other stuffs - such as lying on the floorboard for a lazy nap =s besides that, i really wonder why i have such affinity for naughty kids. children like edmund and roy. omfg. edmunds hugs me like a teddy bear, refusing to budge even after much denial from me. and eh, he's a p4 kid, and rather heavy. he scratches me, strangles my neck, and hugs me in front, from the back, and even the side. i can't imagine anyone else being able to tolerate that. i think i have my limits too. sigh. he's one real, pain in the ***. argh argh !@#$%^&* okay okay. that's enough. hmmm, roy's not too bad, he merely hits me, punches me, and tugs me around like a ragdoll. i dint return the punch or whatver kicks, i swear i could have hurt him real bad. but LOL, i din't. i find it rather cute though, and he has that cute little voice that melts my heart. hahaha. blame his hyperactiveness.

there are other trouble kids too. like one, i think it's sean - he kept asking me to be his ma3 (horse) =s okay i know it sounds stupid, but i really find it amusing. i am his ma, and he's the ren2 (human). i was arguing with him that im the human, while he's the horse. kk, childish. hahaha. it's a KIDS camp anyway. other kids are rather nice to play with:gordon's a cute little p2 boy. he's a little too young though. and then there's the 2 little girls in my group, wanting and vermelle. hahah. very cute too, though wan ting is rather temperamental. her stares are ice cold, and highly vicious. fortunately, over the course of the camp, she dint stare at me that way. woah woah. finally, there's bryan and jasper. bryan's a little spoilt and rebellious while jasper's the best of the lot, though he did break down today when wan ting threw his light sticks away. poor boy.

there's really too much to blog about. argh.

hmm, i do admit that i found the camp boring initially. but as time passes, it only got better. at the end of it, i felt that it's all worthwhile. i've learnt alot from this camp, so yea, 3 days of absence from work, perhaps is a blessing in disguise.

oh and lastly, had a dinner at breeks with the people from our class. was hilarious, and everyone was enjoying themselves, lauging at the jokes involving kelly and edwyn. hahahha. poor edwyn, da beast. LOL. the meal was so filling, i wont have to have any midnight snack tonight. and oh yar, a really good sleep to a brand new day tomorrow.

I'm so burnt, i swear i look red. I'm so hungry i swear i could eat sihui. I'm so thirsty i swear i could drink the entire ocean. ah. these phrases swept through my mind throughout the whole day at sentosa. if i'm not wrong, it has been exactly 8 months since the last outing to that tiny island. and after such a long hiatus from the so-called beach-life, WE ARE BACK. lol. okay, perhaps just for once. but really, it was a fun-filled day, albeit the scorching hot sun burning our skins, literally.

12 people from our class! HOLY shit. that's like almost half the class. there were surprise appearances like jiaying and huishan, so it makes the outing even more fun. not to forget, our harder-than-life vball. we were supposed to meet at 9, but somehow, i dint make there in time. met edwyn in the harbourfront-bound bus, coincidentally that is. so we were both late. in the end, we could have been later since the others were happily having breakfast at macs. next, after much procrastination at cold storage, we reached sentosa at around 10am. then, i was reminded of the coarse sands at Palawan beach. (oh and something to add on. the once highly reliable weather forecast had failed me. it predicted thunder with showers in the late morning and early afternoon. ALAS, the blazing sun continued to terrorise our poor backs) sigh.

basically, we were running to and fro. from one spot to the other - to get the best spot for vballing. anyway, palawan beach looks really different from the previous time we went. it looks much nicer, and the shops revamped and renovated (7-11 included- our trusty BIG GULP) lOL.

then in the afternoon, 5 more joined us. and that's when the fun begins. well, i wont deny the fact that i did enjoy myself today. the only downside to the outing today was that my face's really burnt now. should have put more sunblock on my face, cos my limbs were relatively unscathed. the finale vball game was darn exciting too, with my team (sihui, jingtat, yeeshiang and huishan) coming up tops to beat the opposition! okay, it's luck. but nevertheless,a win is a win. =) i just wanted to get that smirk off ziyan's face. "CAREFUL GAME DUDE!" hahahahah. damn funny.

after washing up, we had dinner at harbourfront centre. ate at noodle hut, a place i never ate before. it's not bad la, the la mien was quite tasty, the price not too bad.

lastly, when i walked home i saw a FULL moon! so i felt really happy. =)

i slept at 8am this morning, only to find myself awaking from my deep slumber at 530pm. my body clock is seriously, undoubtedly, screwed up. well, blame it on night cycling. it sucked all the energy out of me! imagine not sleeping throughout the night, and meanwhile, cycling about 50km around singapore. Pure, UNADULTERATED torture man. haha. but it was fun.

i guess it's my first time doing a thing like that. the 10 of us, me, sihui, yawen, huishan, zihao, denise, yunhua, peixin, zhenxiong and his friend set off from east coast. surprisingly, an overnight rental of a bike cost a mere five bucks. quite a bargain. though we did not cycle from east to west, north to south, but it was tiring enough. undulating roads were the worst. you may think that a gentle slope is nothing but chicken feet, you're wrong. cause when you cycle up the slope, you'll realise the amount of effort you have to put in just to drive that puny bike up =s argh.

oh and poor huishan was the first casualty. her bike scraped the side of the pavement, causing it to topple over. she had multiple injuries, especially on her arm. woah, the abrasion was a large one. hope she recovers soon..

me, myself had a fair share of that sort of excitement. once, just outside the istana, my bike went out of control as the wheels went into contact with the side of the pavement. my bike came crashing down, and i have no idea how i did it, but i jumped out of the bike like a stuntman. okay, not really. but i came out unscathed. lucky me. was some divine intervention i guess. hmm, and there were adrenalin pumping moments where we drove down 3 flight of stairs (as in just 3 stairs). LOL. that resulted in my taillight falling out and getting stuck between my brake wires and my rear wheel. what a lousy bike.

all in all, it was a wonderful night, tiring, but worthwile. especially the ride through the town area and stopping at merlion park. ah, the sea breeze and the uncomparable view from there. whilst the majestic fullerton hotel stands to our right, and right in front was the erm un-lit esplanade. okay, perhaps we were too late, so they turned off the exterior lights. but it was still beautiful. ahh.

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
