i have been looking forward to this class outing since the previous week largely due to my boredom. although there were times when i wanted to back out due to the poor response. can u believe that only 7 ppl turned for a so-called class outing?! oh man. that's utterly pathetic. fortunately, there were a few guys to accompany me, though most of the time edwyn was the one beside me. karwai, face so black. and yeeshiang, hmmm... okay, ignore that. so, my main aim was to watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose. reading the reviews for this movie, i've come to think that the movie is going to be a gd catch. well, i wasnt disappointed! i'll come to that later.
but first, before we commence with the movie, we have to satisfy our hunger. so the girls, which include jialing, phylicia, clarice and kelly decided to go fish and co. always an expensive choice. ha. nvm, i had slightly more than enough money for the day! so, as per normal, i ordered fish and chips, obviously forgetting the previous time i where i ordered the same dish. they added some strange sauce that tasted, arghhhhhhh, absolutely awful!! i shd have ordered sth else. sigh, i guess it's another case of a gd waste of money =s at least we get to freeze our asses off in the restaurant! it was friggin cold, though i dint really show it. but dammit!! i felt like a penguin with its feathers shaved off..
then, kelly and clarice mysteriously disappeared. i guessed we walked a little too fast. anyway, we got our tickets for the 7pm show at Lido. and yeeshiang appeared from no where. lagged for quite some time before we managed to get our asses into the theatre. okay, yes, the cinema was large. the screen was obviously huge too!
and so, the movie goes on and on. i have to say it's a good movie. well worth the 7 bucks spent. i have learnt some stuffs from the movie. 3am is the devil's witching hour, which is so darn cool. i dunno. some ppl find it disturbing and frightening, but i just find it damn interesting. i cant rmb why it's 3am not 1am 2am or 4am. is it cos it looks like the devil's erm, fork? hahah. but yea, very insightful, and mind boggling movie. makes us think of certain things after we come out from the cinema. do demons really exist? is 3am in the morning really the time where all of us shd be afraid of instead of 12am? i dunno.
the exorcism itself was one of a kind. maybe it's cos i have nv watched movies with the exorcist. but it's unique, really. i wont say it's scary, as like the many reviews of the movie, it's more of a courtroom drama. hmmmmmmmm, then i thought in the bus? how about being a lawyer in the future? sounds real cool. but hahha, nope. i dun think i'll be able to qualify for law in the university. and i dun think i can articulate well too.
okay, that's beside the point. we bade farewell to one another and headed off for our homes. i look forward to the night where i'll wake up at 3am; a burnt smell; and the slamming of doors...
