FINALLY! after being stuck at home for uncountable days, i could go out!! it's like WTF WTF WTF!! i can go out again?!?! had absolutely no one to go out with, and im fucking serious. where the fuck have all my friends gone to??
okay so yar, here was how the day went. was supposed to meet heng da and jiaying at city hall at 120pm. i was like wondering why 120?! why not 130? perhaps, 20mins past 1 has special significance to either heng da or jiaying. as senseless as it seemed, it has no particular significance to me! haha. but anyway, i arrived late at 130pm. AND i dint mean to arrive late, it was due to my poor time management. quite uncommon for me to arrive late btw.
my stomach was growling already. to my utmost horror, upon asking the both of them, they had eaten! that left me, who had not have my meal. hungry as i was, i could still suppress the hunger fortunately. so from our original plan, we proceeded to marina square. was considering between saw 2 and zathura (harry potter was out, as if we were to watch it, heng da would be watching it thrice. im not that mean). i was like kinda hoping to watch saw 2 more than zathura as i have caught the first instalment of saw previously, damn good movie i will say. BUT TOO BAD, THE MOVIE'S PAST MIDNIGHT! WTH!!! so we had to settle with zathura. anyone who had watched Jumanji will be able to seek solace with Zathura as it is uncannily similar to Jumanji. okay, it's supposed to be similar as the stories were supposedly spun out from the same author.
movie was at 2 but started 15 mins late.
well, i will say that it's only an average movie. more for a family movie than a movie date. OKAY OKAY, i know it's not a date!! but argh, how i yearn for a date... =( nevermind. i just wanted to meet up with a couple of friends before i leave for beijing. u know, things can be unpredictable. plane crash, bus accident? u dunno what's in store for you! life's freakin unpredictable. so maybe, i can see my good frens for the last time?? hahha. jk. I WILL COME BACK IN ONE PIECE.
back to the movie. i have been digressing. my mind's has been a mess lately. have been reading a book too: straight into darkness. it's a story set in 1920s, Munich (City in Germany if you do not know). wow, a darn cool book. although i have not finished reading but it's just very interesting. A supposedly crime thriller. lots of german used in the book itself. so i have learnt some German from a book! how useful. although i do not know how to pronounce them, sadly. OH CRAP. been digressing again. wasn't i saying that i was going back to the movie?!?! holy..
back back to the movie. the whole movie had only 5 characters. it's mainly a story revolving around 2 young brothers. they found the board game Zathura, which is like the game Jumanji and started their space adventure! (heng da was saying Zathura was more realistic compared to jumanji because the game pieces moved more realistically -_-) okay, yea i know the moral of the story is that among brothers, there should be the mutual 'love' and support for each other. yes i know, i have a brother. and he's such an ass. absolutely nth i can do to stop his cockiness and his act-coolness. perhaps, if i could play zathura, we'll be closer.
and if u have watched the movie, u would have noticed a bicycle floating around, always appearing at unearthly places. i supposed it's just an easter egg. but hey! perhaps, it has some significance, like the world biking day? sth like that? hahah. or maybe, George Bush loves to bike, thus the emphasis of a bicyle floating like phantom throughout the movie. i wont say it's an outstanding movie nor a poor movie. rather, it's a watchable movie, average la. hahah.
oh anyway, i still want to watch harry potter. was wondering if anyone wants to watch with me after i return from beijing. sighh. i guess not. no one wants to watch with me anyway.
oh and just to add something. i'll leaving for beijing on sunday night, cos my flight's at 120am. returning on the 6th dec at around 10+ pm. yup. if there's anything just msg me, i'll get back to u asap after i return from china!
for now, i'll just continue looking for that star in the sky.. sigh.
