it's been 2 weeks since i first started work. well i've to say that working has really become more like a habit. you wake up at 730am, leave home at 830 and reach workplace at 930am. you make the few calls in the morn all the way to 1230pm, 1 hour of lunch break, followed by more calls. on days where there are few calls, you are made to do brainless filing work. woohoo. and you get paid to do brainless work. routines, routines and more routines.

my colleagues are not too bad. there's one guy in the same dept who always have sth to say, that makes it less quiet and awkward. well, it's of little surprise that me and the other new temp are the youngest amongst all the other employees. and as temps, ppl from the other dept hardly come to disturb you. you are kinda like a nobody, but then afterall, you're still a temp staff.

i've grown to like my seat more, although it's really right in front. makes me feel a little uncomfortable when i sms or just slack around. in addition, my computer has no internet access, how cool is that. so all i can do to waste time is either to stone, or to play around with driver's contacts. see how they look like, whether they are married and stuffs. my job, seriously, aint challenging at all. i need to give my brain a good workout or im sure i wouldnt even be able to computer 1+1 = 2. oh and not to forget, i think i've spoken more chinese than the 2 yrs i spent in NJ. well, my spoken chinese just suck, but im glad the cabbies could comprehend my stuttering mandarin. some of them speaks to me in hokkien, and i'll reply either in chinese or english. im just afraid to speak my dialect, although im sure im capable of speaking some basic hokkien. lol.

but past the mundane worklife, more often than not, the only reprieve is the soft and comfy bed awaiting me at home.

and i've to remind myself to tell my supervisor to give me a one week early release. HOPEFULLY, the last friday of march would be my last day of work. 2 weeks of freedom before NS is really, really, precious.. sigh
